1.No Warranty
QuoteReady is provided by TechMonster.dev on an "as is" and "as available" basis, without warranty of any kind, express or implied. This includes, but is not limited to, implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, and non-infringement. TechMonster.dev does not warrant that the tool will be error-free, uninterrupted, secure, or free of viruses or other harmful components. Your use of QuoteReady is entirely at your own risk.
2.Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, TechMonster.dev, its affiliates, directors, officers, employees, agents, and contributors shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, exemplary, punitive, or consequential damages of any kind arising out of or in connection with your use of, or inability to use, QuoteReady or any document generated by it. This includes, without limitation: inaccurate quote information, coverage gaps or lapses, denied claims, incorrect coverage selections, missed policy renewal or expiration dates, inaccurate VIN validation or model-year decoding, inaccurate readiness scores, premium miscalculations, data loss, financial losses, or business interruption — even if TechMonster.dev has been advised of the possibility of such damages.
3.Not Insurance, Legal, or Financial Advice
QuoteReady is a convenience tool for personal record-keeping and data organisation and is not an insurance agency, insurance broker, insurance carrier, comparison-shopping service, or advice platform. QuoteReady does not sell, quote, bind, or place insurance of any kind, is not licensed to transact insurance in any jurisdiction, and does not transmit your information to any insurer, agent, broker, or lead-generation service. Nothing generated by this tool — including readiness scores, savings tips, glossary entries, rule-of-thumb calculations (such as the 10× income guideline), and field explanations — constitutes insurance advice, legal advice, or financial advice, and none of it is a recommendation of any particular coverage, limit, deductible, carrier, or product. All coverage decisions must be made with a licensed insurance professional.
4.Informational Content Disclaimer
The educational content in QuoteReady — including tips about rating factors, discounts, shopping windows, CLUE and MVR reports, and industry practices — describes general patterns in the US insurance market. Insurance rating, underwriting rules, discounts, and requirements vary by state, carrier, and over time, and may not apply to your situation. The 30–45 day shopping-window guidance and renewal reminders are conveniences only; you are solely responsible for tracking your actual policy expiration dates and maintaining continuous coverage. Always verify current requirements with a licensed professional in your state.
5.Data Privacy & Security
All data entered into QuoteReady — including personally identifiable information (names, dates of birth, addresses, contact details, occupations), driver's license numbers, vehicle identification numbers (VINs), property details, claims history, health-related details (tobacco use, height, weight, conditions), income figures, and beneficiary details — is stored exclusively in your web browser using the browser's built-in localStorage mechanism when the "Save my progress" toggle is enabled. No personally identifiable information (PII) and no financial or health data is transmitted to, collected by, or stored on TechMonster.dev servers at any time. QuoteReady deliberately does not ask for Social Security Numbers. TechMonster.dev does not use cookies, tracking pixels, analytics SDKs, or any other mechanism to collect data entered into this tool. You are solely responsible for the security of this information, your device, your browser session, and any exported PDF, Excel, calendar, or copied-text files — including what you subsequently email or share with insurance agents. If you share a device or browser with others, disable the save toggle or use a private/incognito window, and consider clearing browser data after use.
6.Accuracy & User Responsibility
The accuracy, completeness, truthfulness, and correctness of all data entered into QuoteReady are the sole responsibility of the user. Knowingly providing false or incomplete information on an insurance application can constitute misrepresentation and may result in denied claims, rescinded policies, or other consequences — QuoteReady's outputs are only as accurate as what you enter. The VIN validation feature performs an offline mathematical check-digit verification only; it cannot confirm that a VIN corresponds to your actual vehicle, and some non-US-market VINs do not use check digits. The model-year decode is a best-effort heuristic. Readiness scores measure completeness of your entries, not the quality or sufficiency of any coverage. Users must independently verify all figures before submitting them to any insurance agent, broker, carrier, lender, or other party.
7.Document Validity & Certification
PDF, Excel (.xlsx), calendar (.ics), and copied-text documents generated by QuoteReady are user-produced documents based entirely on data self-entered by the user. TechMonster.dev does not certify, validate, notarise, authenticate, endorse, or guarantee the accuracy or integrity of any document generated by this tool. Generated documents carry no official legal, regulatory, or insurance standing; they are not applications, quotes, binders, or proof of insurance, and must not be represented as such in any application, claim, legal proceeding, or financial context.
8.Intellectual Property
The QuoteReady tool — including its design, code, user interface, branding, educational content, and associated TechMonster.dev trademarks — is the intellectual property of TechMonster and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws. The content of individual documents generated by a user (household data, vehicle data, property data, etc.) belongs to the respective user who created it. Unauthorised reproduction, redistribution, modification, reverse engineering, or commercial exploitation of the QuoteReady tool or its branding, in whole or in part, without the express written permission of TechMonster.dev, is prohibited.
9.Third-Party Libraries
QuoteReady uses open-source browser libraries (SheetJS for Excel export and jsPDF for PDF export) that run entirely within your browser. No data is transmitted to any third-party service as a result of using these libraries. References to insurance carriers, monitoring companies, or other businesses in placeholder text or examples are illustrative only and do not imply affiliation or endorsement. TechMonster.dev is not responsible for the content, privacy practices, or reliability of any third-party website, library, or service.
10.Modifications to These Terms
TechMonster.dev reserves the right to modify these terms and conditions at any time without prior notice. The effective date at the top of this page will be updated accordingly. Your continued use of QuoteReady after any modification constitutes your acceptance of the revised terms. It is your responsibility to review this page periodically for updates.
11.Governing Law & Jurisdiction
These terms and conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction in which TechMonster.dev is registered and principally operates, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising from or relating to these terms or your use of QuoteReady shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts in that jurisdiction, unless otherwise required by applicable mandatory consumer protection law in your country of residence.
12.Severability
If any provision of these terms is found to be unlawful, void, or unenforceable for any reason, that provision shall be deemed severable from these terms and shall not affect the validity and enforceability of any remaining provisions.
13.Entire Agreement & Acceptance
These terms constitute the entire agreement between you and TechMonster.dev with respect to your use of QuoteReady and supersede all prior or contemporaneous communications, whether electronic, oral, or written. By accessing QuoteReady, entering any data, or downloading any document, you confirm that you are at least 18 years of age (or the age of digital consent in your jurisdiction), that you have read, fully understood, and agreed to be bound by these terms and conditions in their entirety.
